FCMB Shares, Cardinalstone, Chapel Hill Denham(Primary Offer and Investnaija) Refuse To Credit Shareholders

Did you purchase the FCMB Shares at the FCMB shares price, 10 naira(#10) per share during the FCMB shares prices 2025 offer? The FCMB shares closing date was supposed to be from the 23rd and 31st of March at which FCMB shareholders were supposed to be credited. Has it been over the month of April and your subscribed FCMB shares have not been credited to your stock broker account? Welcome! This article is supposed to spark big  discussion over the way FCMB, Chapel Hill Denham which the Primary Offer(Shares Offers), and Investnaija(Stock Broker) are part of, and then Cardinalstone(FCMB Shares Registrars) is disappointing and embarrassing Shareholders. I personally have the same issue, and in this article, I'll be telling you what I suspect in regards to my experience with this Stock Market companies. I'd also like to hear of your experiences with the FCMB Shares.

Have fcmb credited shares units
Have FCMB Credited Shares

If I'm asked, 'is FCMB Shares worth buying, I'd say a big No! I'm sure a lot would know how the public had to wait since April 1st 2024(for some people) till now, May 2026, waiting to make good use of their investment as they may have planned only to be held by these dubious Stock Market companies in Nigeria. If you don't: it was announced to the public and the Banks doing business internationally on the 28th of March 2024 that they, FCMB and other international banks will have to meet up with the Central Bank of Nigeria's(CBN) minimum capital requirements to keep their international license.

This requirement of raising enough capital by banks dealing internationally had to commence from 1st April 2024 till 31st March 2026 where shareholders were supposed to be credited to their stock broker account(Investnaija) which they used while subscribing as an existing customer or a new account for the newly registered Shareholders, but unfortunately I'm still awaiting to be credited. Worst of it all, I was credited, and to a wrong CHN account I know nothing about - A CHN account I never used while subscribing for the shares at the Primary Offer app. If you're new to this FCMB Shares thing, would you want continue? That's one of the reasons I consider the fcmb shares is not worth buying. You could frustrated anytime.

Has FCMB Shares Been Credited To Subscribers In Investnaija?

Have shareholders of the FCMB Shares been credited of their subscribed shares from the Primary Offer app? This question has been asked by a lot of people who have been expecting the credit since due date of March 31st, 2026 all over various social media platforms. Very few people are aware of what's going ever since the deadline or FCMB shares closing date for capital raising was reached. The companies involved in this are actually up to something if you can sense it. Where there's usually an opportunity for money to be looted, is Nigerians that wouldn't a way to take their share?

Some news carried that, to be credited credited of the FCMB Shares, you have to reach out to the FCMB Shares Registrars which happens to be Cardinalstone. I actually confirmed that, it's a fact. I reached out to my Stockbroker, Investnaija by Chapel Hill Denham which I have an active account with, and they told me the same thing 'I have to reach out to the FCMB Shares registrars'. I now asked them who the FCMB Shares Registrars are as I didn't know yet, but I didn't get a reply from them only to check my email the next day. Cardinalstone said they received my request to be credited of my subscribed shares(possibly requested by the Investnaija) because I didn't know they were the FCMB Shares registrars. I'm close to the point where I was disappointedly embarrassed by the FCMB Shares registrars, CARDINALSTONE.

I received another mail in my gmail by Cardinalstone that my FCMB shares has been credited on a Friday which is the last working day for them. I went to my dashboard at Investnaija to confirm. When I checked my Investnaija account, I saw nothing. I had to crosscheck on the CHN account details and behold, they sent the shares to a different CHN with my name on it. What an expensive error! I can remember providing my active CHN and CSCS account details while subscribing for the FCMB Shares at the Primary Offer app. Why would they credit me into another account? I wrote them an email letting them know that they credited the wrong account and they got to reply my email. Guess what an unprofessional staff replied me. The staff said, ' I didn't tell them which account they should credit my shares units into. Dang!

I had to report the situation to FCMB at their Facebook page which they managed to attend to whenever they had the chance to. I told them that the FCMB Shares registrars, Cardinalstone and Investnaija are referring me to and fro to each other on whom is to correct their error of sending my purchased shares into an account I know nothing about. Yes, that's what happened. Cardinalstone says Investnaija will have to fix it by inter-house transfer to my active CHN account, Investnaija will say Cardinalstone is supposed to have credited my active account until they managed to come up with a plan. Investnaija said I have to send them a signed letter of me requesting them to merge my active account with the inactive one which I have just been credited my FCMB shares units into, an identity card(NIN), and a fee of #3,275(three thousand, two hundred and seventy-five naira) for processing the merge. I did all of these in the early days of April 2026(between 6th and 8th). Guess what? Till now, May 2026, I haven't seen the units. Very embarrassing!

Is FCMB Shares A Good Investment? Is FCMB Shares Worth Buying?

Fcmb shares is not a good buy! Fcmb Shares is not a good investment. FCMB shares is not worth buying! The way they handle this situation shows that there are some dubious activities going on within the system. Imagine buying shares 2025, and they kept the shares for a second phase of raising capital without releasing when they're supposed to in 2026, and they wouldn't. Instead they come up with errors that will end with "sorry for the inconveniences". I definitely can't recommend the concerned companies involved in this particular stock subscription to anyone. They could make other mistakes and keep apologizing.

Possible Reasons Why FCMB, Chapel Hill Denham, and Cardinalstone Have Not Credited Shareholders of The FCMB Shares Units

I believe there are reasons in connection to this errors and delays in crediting fcmb share holders their purchased FCMB shares 2025 units.

One of the reasons I suspect is, FCMB has received a lot of excess money in the subscriptions to the fcmb shares, and those in high positions in the company, are looking for ways to pocket some currency changes.

Another reason is the case of people who gotten loans from Banks and haven't settled for some reasons or the other. Some banks that lend money, especially the Microfinance Banks clearly threatens those who owe amounts for a long time of with harm to BVN. Your financial accounts in the country can actually been observed and monitored with this Identification means. It's possible they can decide partner with other banks to punish you or lock you off your funds, but I believe this to be wrong because the companies responsible for collecting and keeping payments and records for the FCMB shares are supposed to take responsibility in being accurately accountable for each shareholders account. They're supposed to protect funds of registered shareholders.
